Community

A highlight of my time as a Ph.D. student was serving on the board of the ASQ Blog (2021 – 2023). The ASQ Blog is a student-run community of scholars that takes readers behind the scenes of recent and forthcoming papers published in Administrative Science Quarterly. Read my interviews with Mike Pratt, Beth Bechky, and Matt Beane.

Together with a stellar team, I also co-organize the annual Professional Development Workshop on Occupations and Professions research at the Academy of Management Meeting. My collaborators are Luke Hedden, Ece Kaynak, Audrey Holm, and Tomi Koljonen. In 2024 we explored the theme, ‘Occupations and Professions as a Lens for Studying Pressing Societal Challenges’.
